Original Fiction Drabbles - Week Six

Weakness – August 31st, 2012 [Ford Wentham, Makoto Nanami, Kei-kitty]

“I want one.”

“Absolutely not.”

“I need one, Makoto.”

“No… you don’t.”

Ford pouted, turning blue eyes towards his lover as he put his hands together pleadingly.

“Ford…”

“Please? I’ll do everything, you won’t even know he’s there! I mean, look at him! How could someone give him back?” Ford added as he looked at the multi-coloured cat that was currently flopped out on his back, looking at them with innocently wide yellow eyes.

“Fine…”

Makoto was sure he had ‘sucker’ emblazoned on his forehead, but how could he say no to Ford and a cat giving him sad eyes?


Boy, Interrupted. – September 1st, 2012 [Jacob Knight, Daiki-puppy]

After sex, Jake was sure that sleep was his favourite thing; unfortunately this meant that when he had… ‘company’, Daiki was locked out of the bedroom and he often got one and not the other.

Soft whines and howls sounded as Jake lay in bed, his current fling asleep and snoring softly. He honestly had no idea how the man could sleep through the racket.

Sighing when it became too much, Jake got up to let Daiki in, snorting softly when the golden retriever settled on the mattress between them.

He hadn’t been that fond of the other man anyway…


And a Happy New Year… - September 2nd, 2012 [Daiki Ishizawa/Yukio Katsukawa, Emi and Kazuya Ishizawa]

“--and three winter hats… Daiki, what do they need three hats each for? They’re two months old!”

“They’re different colours!”

Not sure how to respond to that, Yu just laughed and finished wrapping the gifts, watching in amusement as the twins gurgled happily and played with their father, struggling to grab at the soft plush he was teasing them with.

His heart felt so full at the sight of the three of them, a reminder of the love that he’d finally gained after suffering so much.

“… Merry Christmas, Dai-chan…”

Daiki smiled at him, dark eyes full of love.


Life Is a Gamble – September 3rd, 2012 [Ford Wentham/Makoto Nanami, Alliance Jinks]

Makoto’s angry and Ford knows it. He doesn’t say anything at all, not going to give excuses for this when he would do it all again.

“You bring a stranger—“

“—a child, Makoto.”

“He’s still a stranger, Ford, and you know better than that. You should have spoken to me first.”

“I know… but I couldn’t leave him there, I’m sorry.”

Sighing softly, Makoto lets his anger seep away as he turns to look at the kid, seeing their past in him and knowing deep down that he would have done the same thing, unable to leave him.


Under the Stars – September 4th, 2012 [Brandon Kimura, Ryo-kitty]

Star light, star bright…

Aki couldn’t remember the rest of the words. He thought his mother might have spoken them to him once, but that was a long time ago, and those memories are impossible to grasp.

A soft purr turned his thoughts outward and he absently scritched behind the small grey kitten’s ears as he continued to stare up at the sky.

He wished that he could lose himself in the vastness of the night sky, but even now he is almost painfully aware of his surroundings, unable to relax despite being in an empty park at half past three in the morning.


Dancing in the Dark – September 5th, 2012 [Eddie Valentine/Cillian Catherwood]

Bright moonlight reflected in blue eyes.

A warm brush of air sweeping over chilled skin.

Soft lips curved into a bright smile.

Dance with me?

If Eddie could blush, he was sure he would have as he read Cillian’s signed words. Even here in the middle of a dark park, with no one around, the thought of doing something like that – of being so close to Cillian in public – was enough to make him wish he had somewhere to hide.

Still, the expectant look on Cillian’s face was enough to have him nodding, never wanting to see that smile falter.


Sex On the Beach – September 6th, 2012 [Cillian Catherwood/Carter Valentine]

“No really, it’s a dessert!”

Cillian raised one eyebrow, the corner of his lips curved slightly in amusement. You just wanted to ask me if I’ve ever had sex on the beach…

“… okay fine, but it’s still a dessert!” Carter said, even as he reached out to touch the soft curve of Cillian’s cheek, loving to see him smile when he used to do it so infrequently. “But if you really do want to have sex on the beach…”

Amused smile turning a little devious, Cillian turned to bite gently at Carter’s fingertips. “I’d rather have sex right here…”

Drabblessssss sorry this is taking so long but I'm trying to listen to Obama. >.>

1. KEI-kitty? He's already a kitty. XD Makoto, you are a sucker.
2. Bahaha, Daiki the bratty pretty puppy. He's be there way longer than any fling, Jake.
3. D'awwww stupid Daikio. Daiki's such a stupid gooshy dad.
4. Ford, stop taking in strays! Jeez. And some concrit-- I feel like you dun need the "unable to leave him" bit there. You could end the sentence there, and use the extra words elsewhere.
5. Aww... at least Aki has a friend now? Also it should be "now he was almost painfully aware".
6. I want to know what universe this exists in that anyone can actually get Eddie to DANCE.
7. I didn't believe him at first either! And this pairing feels a little wrong. >.> CARTER HE'S YOUR BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND, GOD.
