So very very late this week... so sorry... ;__;
One Hundred Years and a Day: Part 4 – May 18th, 2013 [James Landon/Makoto Nanami]
“You look so different…”
Makoto doesn’t mean for those particular words to slip out as they’re sitting in the pub having lunch, but the silence between them is a bit awkward for a moment, and it’s the first thing that pops into his head.
It breaks the awkwardness though, and James laughs a bit.
“I guess I do. Though you don’t look exactly the same either.”
“You look good though,” Makoto adds, not wanting James to feel like he thought that ‘different’ was a bad thing. He’s still adjusting to the idea that his Jocelin is now the older man.
Carded Again – May 19th, 2013 [Makoto Nanami, Ryo Maeda]
“ID. Now.”
“Are you kidding me?”
“Do I look like I’m kidding?”
Looking at the man’s completely serious face, Ryo rolled his eyes and reached for his wallet, handing the other man his driver’s license.
“Did you seriously think that a skin mag would hire you to do a photo shoot, and then send you an underage model?” he asked, accepting the card back when Makoto was done looking at it.
“You really think they wouldn’t?”
Unable to respond to that when he knew his own company capitalized on his youngish looks for his films, Ryo just shrugged a little.
An Unexpected Rescue – May 20th, 2013 [Makoto Nanami, Ryo Maeda]
Shutting himself inside the phone booth and leaning against the doors to catch his breath, Ryo stares at the phone in front of him for a moment before picking it up and dialing with shaking fingers.
Why he calls Makoto of all people, he has no idea, but when the other man shows up and pulls him into a hug, draping his coat around his trembling body, Ryo can’t do anything but burst into tears.
When Makoto hears what happened though, Ryo’s surprised at the ear blistering he gives his agent over the phone, and it makes him feel better.
A Little Dark Prince: Part 1 – May 21st, 2013 [Alliance Jinks, Christopher Larkin]
It’s the coppery taste and smell of blood that washes over Chris and lures him like a siren down into the alley.
After all this time he still hasn’t quite gotten used to hunting, and sometimes it’s just as easy to take a sip from someone passed out in an alleyway than try and chase (or lure) someone down into one.
The last thing he expects to find is what looks like a child crouched over a prone body, blood splashed everywhere and looking like something from a horror film.
Frozen and unsure of what to do, Chris just stares.
A Little Dark Prince: Part 2 – May 22nd, 2013 [Alliance Jinks, Christopher Larkin]
Helping Allie feed properly had been a difficult task, but once the smaller vampire had food in his belly, Chris could tell that he was able to focus more, which meant he actually paid attention.
Allie had been on the streets for a long time though, even before he’d been turned, and it wasn’t an easy task to break him of habits that had been formed. Chris thought that it was much like domesticating a young and wild animal, and it often took gentle reminders to steer him in the right direction.
Seeing Allie smile though, made it worth it.
An Exception (or Three) For Every Rule – May 23rd, 2013 [Nozomu Ito, Shayden Hashimoto]
“The English language sucks.”
Glancing up the exasperated words spoken in Japanese, Shay felt his mouth twitch into a grin at the look on his bandmate’s face. Having only been in England for less than a year, Nocchi’s English was poor, but he had been diligently trying to teach himself despite how hard he was finding it.
“It has rules, and exceptions, and then exceptions to the exceptions,” Nocchi continued when he caught Shay grinning at him. “It tells me i goes before e, except after c. But then there are all these words where that’s not true at all!”
Wannabe Role Model – May 24th, 2013 [Shizuka Inoue]
You’re fat.
You’re the wrong body type.
You’re not what we’re looking for.
Zuka had heard the same thing said over and over again using different words, and yet every time he did, it still cut like a knife.
He wasn’t fat. He may have been the wrong body type, but there was nothing wrong with his body. Sure he had rounded features and he’d never have a six-pack even if he tried, but he was far from overweight.
All he wanted to do was to model; to show the world that more than one body type could be sexy.

Date: 27/05/2013 03:13 am (UTC)1. Awww I swear I never get tired of this plotline. >.> ♥
2. Dem you and the way you write Ryo. I hate him but then I enjoy him...
3. I do like making Ryo suffer, but not like that. :< Makoto's the right one to call for a rescue.
4-5. Aw, little vamp!Allie and his vamp!Chris mentor. So cute. :]
6. XD Poor Nocchi. I'd hate to have to learn English as a second language, especially since most of the native speakers don't even know their own proper grammar.
7. DD: Waaah, Zuka! You're not fat! WE think you're sexy, and so does Carter!

Date: 31/05/2013 12:23 pm (UTC)2. :3 I hate dumping characters? I still feel bad about Kio basically turning into an assbucket too, and Kei's asexual. Ryo can be rehabilitated!
3. :< I know, right? And yes~, Makoto should start a rescuing company. Rescuers On Top? >.>;
4-5. Hehe... Chris would be such a cute but awkward vampire mentor. Like... trying to show Allie the right way to feed, but he's probably still pretty squeamish and stuff.
6. I KNOW! English is seriously evil. It's why I kind of can't really blame some immigrants for hating to learn it. It's ridiculously nonsensical.
7. D: No he's not! But sadly to the modelling industry he probably is, because they suck. But Carter loves him just how he is!
