Omg, on time this week!

Household Chores – September 14th, 2012 [Yukio Katsukawa/Aki]

“What’s wrong?”

After years together, Yu was able to hear the barely perceptible panic in Brandon’s voice, and he was quick to explain what had happened in order to calm his husband down.

A search of the dead man’s pockets revealed him as an old rival of Brandon’s long thought dead.

Relieved that Yu was okay – and their older two children were at school, their youngest upstairs and napping – it was easy to direct Yu to his contact that would dispose of the man’s body and clean up any mess.

“I miss you.”

“I’ll be home soon… I love you…”

Stranger in a Strange Land – September 15th, 2012 [Nozomu Ito, Shayden Hashimoto]

Learning a second language is hard enough, but learning English when you’re twenty-two is even harder, and Nozomu’s never felt more frustrated than he does right now.

Coming to England was supposed to be his chance to start a new life, to be able to live freely without censure for his sexuality like he would at home in Japan. However, everywhere he turns he still feels mocked for fumbling through a language that’s complicated even to its natives.

Then he meets Shayden Hashimoto, a lowly stock-boy to anyone else, but a guardian angel to him, and he falls in love.

I’ll Dress You in Mourning – September 16th, 2012 [Yukio Katsukawa, Masami Katsukawa]

He’s never felt strong. Not on the days when he avoided her anger, nor on the days when there was no avoiding it.

He’s always felt weak because he thinks that someone strong would have just walked away, would have seen her rage and abuse for what it was instead of making excuses for it like he has for so long.

So when he’s finally free, when he’s lying in a hospital bed covered in more bandages than clothes, he still feels weak, because he’s only free from inaction, not from anything that he actually did, and he feels ashamed.

If Morning’s Echo Says We’ve Sinned – September 17th, 2012 [Jocelin/Bennet]

“No God could hate us for a love so pure,” Bennet said as he brushed Jocelin’s soft wheat-coloured hair back from his face, looking down at him in the golden glow of the last rays of sunlight. “I cannot believe it.”

Smiling up at the other teen, blue eyes looking far older than Bennet knew him to be, Jocelin remained silent for a moment.

“I wish I could find the faith inside of me that lives inside of you,” he said eventually, knowing he would give anything to believe that their love wouldn’t be punished once this life was done.

In the Dark of the Night – September 18th, 2012 [Jacob Knight/Makoto Nanami]

There’s nothing that Jake enjoys more than being with a lover in any way he can, and when he’s with Makoto that feeling is magnified by the love he feels for the other man.

Struggling to keep his eyes open as he straddles Makoto’s hips and writhes slowly in his lap, Jake feels more complete than he ever has in his life as he tangles his hands with Makoto’s.

Meeting warm dark eyes, Jake feels love and lust coil tightly in his belly at the expression he sees there as they move together on soft sheets, bodies slick with sweat.

The Last Little Golden Book – September 19th, 2012 [Yukio Katsukawa, Aiko Ishizawa]

“Yu-kun! What happened to your cheek?!”

Averting his gaze from Aiko’s, Yu knew he should have known better than to think that make up would hide the bruise from the woman’s perceptive gaze.

“I… H-here’s Daiki-kun’s Golden B-book,” he said softly, holding out the small book that he’d gone to buy – the reason for the bruise blossoming on his cheek.

“Yukio… tell me what happened, please…”

“She caught me spending m-money…”

“Who did, sweetie? Why would she hit you for that?”

Swallowing a sob, Yu inched closer to Aiko, wanting to be held instead of hit for once. “My mum…”

Something Borrowed, Something New – September 20th, 2012 [Makoto Nanami/Yukio Katsukawa]

He hasn’t been allowed to see Yu all morning, nor was he allowed to see the dress that had been specially designed – though he had seen the bill for it.

Now, watching Yu walk down the aisle, he’s glad he was kept in the dark, because the punch of emotion he feels at the sight is more powerful because of it.

Small blue flowers are woven through Yu’s long dark hair, and the bouquet he carries is only a handful of white lilies and those same small flowers.

The sight of him makes Makoto fall in love all over again.
